Pond is difficult to access and requires a long walk through the forest with your gear. Water is crystal clear and one would never guess that the fish are toxic. I did one lap around the pond, wading through waist deep water, flicking a spinner lure around. Caught 24 fish, all of them yellow perch of different sizes. All were released as a meal of mercury does not sound very appealing. Recommended for the good fun, fast action, and relaxing scenery - as long as you are not fishing for your dinner. |
